Devonport Jazz 2026

Devonport Jazz 2025 is nearly here!

Welcome to Devonport Jazz 2025 – a celebration of music, community, and winter warmth from July 24 to 27. Across 22 venues in and around Devonport, the city transforms into a vibrant hub of performances, workshops, and events that showcase the rich diversity of Jazz and Blues.

This year’s program features headline acts including Hugh Sheridan, Norway’s Swing’It, GrooVe Congress, Paul Williamson, and many of Tasmania’s finest musicians.

We’re proud to present a Relaxed Performance designed for sensory-sensitive audiences, and an Improvisation Workshop led by acclaimed saxophonist Paul Williamson.

Community-driven favourites return with Gospel Song and Jazz MAD in the Pavilion, a free, drop-in venue at Market Square showcasing local bands, choirs, and vocal groups in a welcoming setting.

One of this year’s most anticipated events is the Prohibition Party – a 1920s-style speakeasy night featuring three musical acts, including two headline bands, plus dancing and dazzling burlesque performances. It’s a night of vintage glamour and high-energy entertainment not to be missed.

This year also features a special collaboration with LuminoCity – Breath, an immersive art installation where you can be present at the creation of a brand-new soundscape live during the festival.

Devonport Jazz is inclusive and accessible, offering free and affordable options for all ages. Whether you’re a jazz enthusiast or simply looking for a great winter experience, there’s something for everyone. Join us for four unforgettable days of music, connection, and celebration.
