ALLY with Gai Bryant
Global jazz group ALLY brings their experience and knowledge to create a convergence of riches at every performance. Global jazz at its most passionate and irresistible, ALLY draws from Afro-Peruvian, Cuban, Brazilian, and Caribbean traditional rhythms paired with a modern jazz aesthetic.
The brainchild of saxophonist Gai Bryant, ALLY reimagines masters Thelonious Monk and Charles Mingus along with original compositions layered with spoken word by Brazilian-Australian poet Dai Moret.
