Percival Stack is a unique musical partnership that brings together two of Australia’s most respected performers for an intimate and unforgettable live experience.

At its heart, this concert is about connection – between double bass and voice, between musicians, and with the audience. Phil Stack, known for both his jazz credentials and his work with Thirsty Merc, joins forces with Darren Percival, one of Australia’s most celebrated vocalists. Together, they create music that is soulful, exploratory and deeply human.

Drawing on their shared background in jazz, Percival Stack’s performances leave plenty of room to roam. The music may start in jazz, but it happily wanders through blues, soul, pop and beyond. Expect re‑imagined versions of classic songs, original material from both artists, and new music created together – all shaped in the moment.

Rather than a tightly scripted set, this is a responsive, living performance where atmosphere matters as much as notes.
