This year Devonport Jazz presents Jazz in the Pavilion.
Jazz in the Pavilion will be a free two-day performance venue. Festival-goers can come and see the local talent in between ticketed concerts, with performances from bands, choirs, vocal groups, and soloists. There will be an opportunity to enjoy something to eat from the on-site vendors and food trucks, have a dance or learn some new swing moves, challenge your friends to a game, or find a treasure. Jazz in the Pavilion includes a pop-up record fair, book reading, games library, and loads of music.

The Jazz M.A.D program will be an added addition on Sunday to the Jazz in the Pavilion. The Jazz M.A.D. program will be an eclectic celebration of young people and jazz music. This free showcase features emerging artists from our region – musicians, artists, and dancers. Start your day with a Big Band Brunch followed by performances from Don College, Crescendo Choir, Ulverstone Secondary College, Devonport High School, Latrobe Federal Youth Band, Geneva Christian College, KC Studio of Dance, Tech Steps Dance Studio, and Elizabeth College (Hobart).
